All of the soap available in my shop contain local Minnesota goat milk. But, did you know you can also make soap with breast milk? This is a custom option only, with the milk provided by the mother and the soap returned only to the mother.

Breast milk soap is intended for use by the mother or other children of the home. It is suggested by some that babies under the age of 1 year shouldn’t use cold process soap.

If you want me to make some soap for you with your breast milk, I would need approximately 12 ounces of frozen breast milk per batch, or freeze dried milk that would reconsistute to that amount. One batch of soap makes 10 bars of 4.5-ounce soap.

Generally, I recommend leaving this as a pure unscented soap, and my normal recipe contains Olive Oil, Milk, Unrefined Organic Coconut Oil, RSPO Certified Sustainable Palm Oil, and Sodium Hydroxide. Additives available include colloidal oatmeal, turmeric, honey, clay, etc. The addition of fragrance or essential oils is available by special request for an additional $10 charge.

Please note that custom orders may take up to 8-10 weeks to complete once I receive your milk. Why so long? Depending on what you want me to make for you, I may or may not have all of the necessary ingredients in stock. So, I need to account for the order processing time to receive the ingredients, make the soap, and then allow it to cure for 4-6 weeks before getting it on its way to you.
