Natural Wood Soap Dish
Add a natural wood soap dish to your order to help extend the life of your handcrafted goat’s milk soap! These beautiful soap dishes are made in the USA by a small family business in central Oregon.
All natural wood soap dishes currently in stock are made of Red Alder. Choose from: Regular or Elevation-Style Alder ($6), or Mini (2″). Note, the mini dishes are primarily for half-size or sample size bars, they won’t work for full-size bars of soap.
Ensuring your goat’s milk soap can dry between uses will prolong its life, and this made-in-the-US natural wood soap dish is a great way to help you do that! To also extend the life of your soap dish, it is recommended to use your soap dishes in pairs.
Use one soap dish for 2-3 weeks, and then gently wipe clean with a damp cloth and set aside to allow it to fully dry out. Use the second dish for 2-3 weeks while the first dish dries out, and then alternate them this way. Allowing dishes to fully dry out every few weeks will prevent mold and mildew from developing and the wood from becoming waterlogged and rotting.
