My husband is the gardener in our family, but I help too! We focus on organic gardening, and we try to grow more than we need so we can share with friends and neighbors. We built an “Extras” stand in our front yard a few years ago, and as we have some garden extras we put them out there for anyone to take as they walk by. Once in a while, people will leave a dollar or two, and one time someone put some of THEIR tomatoes in OUR stand. It’s a fun addition to our yard.
