Cobalt Earth Tallow Soap

Bergamot, Patchouli & Cedarwood

Handmade in small batches in my Minnesota kitchen, this Cobalt Earth Soap contains Locally Sourced Beef Tallow, Locally Sourced Minnesota Goat’s Milk, Food-Grade Sodium Hydroxide, Sunflower Oil, Essential Oils of Bergamot, Patchouli & Cedarwood, Distilled Water, Cambrian Blue Clay, Indigo Powder, Activated Charcoal.

This soap is made with tallow as the only oil, while my regular recipe contains olive oil, coconut oil, palm oil, and castor oil. This is a great option for those who prefer minimal ingredients or tallow products, for those who avoid coconut oil and/or palm oil, or just anyone who wants to try something new. The lather is less than in my regular recipe, but feels creamier at the same time. It’s hard to explain, but I love both and will always make both options. Give it a try, I’d love to hear how you like it!

Soap bars are approximately 1″ thick and 4.5 ounces each.

This soap is a coconut-free and palm-free option, however it was not made with dedicated separate equipment. Though I wash all equipment thoroughly after each soapmaking session, the potential for trace amounts of other ingredients always exists.
