Destination: Florida Soap

Handmade in small batches in my Minnesota kitchen, this Destination: Florida soap contains: Olive Oil, Locally Sourced Minnesota Goat Milk, Unrefined Organic Coconut Oil, RSPO Certified Sustainable Palm Oil, Food-Grade Sodium Hydroxide, Castor Oil, Fragrance Oil (Paraben & Phthalate Free), Sunflower Oil, Mica, Pumice Powder, Coconut Husk Powder.

This beach-inspired design features a fragrance of zesty, creamy key lime pie complete with a graham cracker crust.

Soap bars are 1″ thick and approximately 4.5 ounces each.

The Story:

Most of the soaps in this series are inspired by a specific city or destination, but this one felt a little different. When I think about time I’ve spent in various parts of Florida, a few things always come to mind: beautiful blue water, fresh seafood, and key lime pie.

Since no one wants a seafood-scented soap, I used the other two elements as the inspiration for this one. Scented with a bright, sweet key lime pie fragrance, this soap is poured on a diagonal—featuring ocean-inspired blues on the bottom, a sand-and-graham-cracker “crust” layer in the middle, and creamy pie on top.

And no, there’s no actual sand or graham crackers in there—but I did include pumice powder and coconut husk powder for a lightly exfoliating, beachy feel.
