About This Soap:
Part of the Destination Collection, this handcrafted soap features swirls of gold, cream, purple, and deep brown inspired by one of the country’s most colorful celebrations. Activated charcoal adds depth and contrast to the design, creating a bar that is as striking as it is fragrant.

Made with locally sourced Minnesota goat milk and a nourishing blend of olive oil, coconut oil, sustainably sourced palm oil, castor oil, and sunflower oil, it creates a creamy, gentle lather perfect for everyday use.

The Story Behind Destination: New Orleans:
Some places stay with you long after you’ve left, and New Orleans is one of those places for me. I first visited in my early twenties to see a friend and returned twice more for work. Each trip included at least a few essentials: hurricane drinks, a muffuletta from Central Grocery, wandering through the French Market, visits to St. Louis Cathedral, and plenty of incredible food along the way.

While Bourbon Street often gets the spotlight, what I remember most is the city’s energy. The music, the colors, the food, and the feeling that there is always something happening around the next corner. When I started designing this soap, I found myself revisiting those memories. The fragrance was inspired by some of the city’s most beloved treats, blending notes of cinnamon, sugar, vanilla, and warm pastry to capture the scent of fresh beignets and king cake.

The vanilla naturally darkened much of the soap as it cured, but in this case, it only made the bar feel more authentic. The scent instantly brings me back to one of the things I remember most: walking through the city with the aroma of bakeries drifting through the air. Different places tell different stories, and this soap is my way of sharing a small piece of one that has stayed with me.
