Driftwood & Amber Tallow Soap
Handmade in small batches in my Minnesota kitchen, this Driftwood & Amber Tallow Soap contains Beef Tallow, Locally Sourced Minnesota Goat Milk, Food-Grade Sodium Hydroxide, Fragrance Oil (Paraben & Phthalate Free), Mica.
This soap is made with tallow as the only oil, while my regular recipe contains olive oil, coconut oil, palm oil, and castor oil. This is a great option for those who prefer minimal ingredients or tallow products, for those who avoid coconut oil and/or palm oil, or just anyone who wants to try something new. The lather is less than in my regular recipe, but feels creamier at the same time. It’s hard to explain, but I love both and will always make both options. Give it a try, I’d love to hear how you like it!
Soap bars are approximately 1″ thick and 4 ounces each. This particular batch is lightly scented, so is a great option for those who like a bit of scent – but not too much.

This soap is a coconut-free and palm-free option, however it was not made with dedicated separate equipment. Though I wash all equipment thoroughly after each soapmaking session, the potential for trace amounts of other ingredients always exists.
