Unscented (Vegan) Soap
Handmade in small batches in my Minnesota kitchen, this Unscented (Vegan) Soap contains only a handful of ingredients – all of which you can pronounce! It’s made vegan due to the absence of goat milk, which I use in *most* of my other soap batches.
Ingredients include: Olive Oil, Distilled Water, Unrefined Organic Coconut Oil, RSPO Certified Sustainable Palm Oil, Food-Grade Sodium Hydroxide, Castor Oil.
I recently took the Advanced Soapmaker Certification with the Handcrafted Soap and Cosmetics Guild (and passed!) As part of my exam entry, I needed to make a plain unscented bar of soap with NO additives, and in this case, goat milk was an additive. So, I had to make a batch WITHOUT any milk in it. I recalculated my main goat milk soap recipe slightly to account for the lack of milkfat, and the bar turned out so lovely. It’s a great option for those who can’t or don’t want to use soap that contains goat milk soap.
